Steve Dyer has been playing hockey in Shanghai since 2006 when he was part of a game played at the Tiger Mall against the visiting Canadian Navy team. Later, he was one of the few, the lucky, to play at the Hongkou swimming pool winter rink, which had a large waterfall structure right at center ice.
He has been on the SHC Executive Committee since 2022. He handles negotiations with the rink(s), helps with referee training and coordination, and various other tasks.
